UX Design in Health TechnologyLaajuus (3 op)

Osaamistavoitteet

• After attending the module, the students can demonstrate an exciting design project in the field of health and wellbeing, in which the areas of the UCD process were taken into account and gone through. The focus of the project is not only on the conception, but also on usability and visual design.
• The students gain experience in teamwork and can apply different methods in a design process according to the task.
• With a final presentation, the students deepen their presentation skills.

Sisältö

A design development process is carried out on the basis of a concrete and practical task
in the field of health and wellbeeing. This contains:
• Brainstorming
• Sketches (paper prototyping), Low-Fidelity Prototyping
• Wireframing (Balsamiq, Axure, Adobe XD…)
• Usability (testing)
• Hi-Fidelity Prototyping
• Interface Design (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD…)
• (Storyboarding if timewise doable)
• Documentation or video
• Final presentation

Esitietovaatimukset

Basic knowledge of human-machine interaction and/or design would be nice.
Some experience with and knowledge about Adobe Creative Cloud would be helpful.
