Objective

After the course, the student knows the selection criteria for actuators, the operating principles and uses of robotics components. In addition, the student is able to read system diagrams of devices and prepare them for robotics applications.

Content

The course provides an extensive introduction to the basics of automation equipment, components, actuators and system design. Software used in the course is Automation Studio

Qualifications

A minimum of 50 ECTS credits completed of the bachelor's degree programme. Familiarity with the fundamentals of RDI activity is recommended but not required.
