Objective

The student is able to learn and absorb musical content in their work as a pedagogue. They can produce sounding scores and accompaniment by ear, based on harmony, and through reduction, expansion and transposal of the written score in musical contexts of their pedagogical work. The student has the ability for purposeful and ergonomic practicing.

The student is able to implement various improvisation exercises, which entail interaction skills such as speed of reaction, power of observation and sense of time. While improvising students develop musical memory, speed of musical thinking, musical imagination, and sense of drama.

Content

Mapping the needs of a group. Producing accompaniment using the score, harmony signs, or by ear in various styles according to the student’s musical orientation whether the teaching goal is pop/jazz or classical music.
Perceiving and producing harmony in music. Understanding improvisation and rhythmic elements. Building the accompaniment, producing compositions, and the pedagogy of composing. Diverse improvisation exercises.
