Objective

The student masters public music performances, performance practices and models of operation. They have a clear understanding of the musician's profession and professional ethics. Work placement focuses on ensemble playing.

At least 20 public music performances.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The get an approved grade, the student
- makes 20 public music performances (professional paid gigs, recording sessions, concerts organized or supplied by the degree programme, course examinations, etc.) and records them on a dedicated Work Placement Form showing the date and nature of the performance as well as the members of the band
- writes an essay about the aspects of a musician's profession they learned during the work placement
