Objective
The student knows the basic principles of copyright legislation and can apply them from both a creative musician’s and a performing musician’s standpoint. The student understands the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, taxation and contractual practices, and the differences between various forms of enterprise and their applicability in their own operations. The student learns the most important reporting and contract practices regarding e.g. music publishing and distribution. The student familiarizes themselves with domestic funding systems for creative industries and understands how to write good funding or grant applications. The student is able to design and implement the productional content and different stages of an entire music project.

Qualifications
Completion of the Entrepreneurship, Labour Market, and Marketing Skills course or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
- Attending tuition
- Completing and submitting the given exercises and assignments according to the agreed schedule
- Implementation of the production of a music project including all the necessary plans, documents, and stages of operation. By default, the project is to be realized as a “dry run”, i.e. without actual musical content. The project can be carried out individually or in small groups.
