Objective

The student deepens and widens their skills and knowledge of music technology applications and other computer software and hardware used in studying, practicing and teaching of music. The student becomes familiar with different fields of music technology. In addition to this, the student acquires basic skills in video production and becomes acquainted with the most common video and sound formats. After the completion of the course, the student knows how to use and maintain the computer and essential software in their studies and profession. The student understands the importance of following the technological evolution and applying new technologies in their own work and in the constant updating of their skills and expression.

Completion of the Introduction to Music Production and Synthesis and Sampling courses or equivalent skills and knowledge.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

- Attending tuition
- Completing and submitting the given exercises and assignments according to the agreed schedule
- Designing and implementing an instructional video.
