Radio 2Laajuus (15 ECTS)

Objective

The students can plan and execute a wide, edited content package to radio or other auditory distribution channel. They can present their ideas and develop them based on received feedback. The students are familiar with formal and narrative modes of long, edited radio programs. They can technically execute multiform sound narratives and use appropriate equipment. They can analyze radio works and reflectively analyze their own auditive expression. The students can produce a varied whole using multiple media modes. They know the major distribution channels of audio journalism. They can compose budget, production schedule and sales package for their project.

Radio 1 or similar competences.

Attendance in classes. Assignments completed. Some parts of the assignments need improvement.

Active participation in classes. Ability to apply the learned knowledge and to reflect on it. Development driven approach to coursework. Generation of new knowledge in order to contribute to the class.
