Sound Design and Production in Fiction FilmLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The student understands the expressive connection between technique and content in sound design. The student can express key ideas of his/her sound design plan. The student can break down and analyze key means of sound expression in a finished film. The student can interpret a script and express his/her ideas concretely. During pre-production the student can present concretely his/her ideas and plans for the soundtrack of the final film. The student can break down from the script the key factors that affect the technical implementation and expressive use of sound.
