Fundamentals of Production (5ECTS)

Objective

Production management skills:

The student knows the structure, key elements, concepts and tools of project management in different audiovisual projects. The student knows relevant work legislation and intellectual property rights in film production. The student knows key content of work contracts and can take intellectual property rights in account in them. The student can present his/her professional skills and abilities in different mediums. The student can express him-/herself in Finnish both orally and in writing. The student can use relevant spreadsheet program in production management.

- the work legislation, work contracts and presenting oneself as a worker in the professional field

- developing and executing a written presentation package of a film production
- developing and executing an oral presentation (pitch) of a film production
