Objective

The student
- knows the principles of computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging from the viewpoint of physics and equipment used
- is able to act safely in MRI examinations with different kinds of patient groups and knows the principles governing the safe use of MRI enhancement media
- knows computer tomography and MRI examinations' range of usage
- understands the meaning of multiprofessional action and her/his own responsibility in patient care
- is able to guide patients in MRI and computer tomography examinations
- is able to perform radiation-hygienic computer tomography examinations to different patient groups
- is familiar with the most important anatomical structures of the head and abdomen and their functioning

Safe working in computer tomography and MRI examinations

Safe usage of medical radiation
