Objective
After completing the course, the student knows the selected medical devices, understands the importance of usability to different stakeholders, understands usability terminology and standards in medical field, has skills to use usability testing methods, and applies knowledge and skills to solving practical medical device usability problem.

Student has some knowledge about selected medical devices, partly understands stakeholders, usability terminology and standards and methods for usability testing and evaluation, and utilizes learned knowledge and skills to medical device usability task.

Student knows selected medical devices, understands importance of usability to different stakeholders, usability terminology and standards, analyses learned knowledge and has skills to use learned methods, utilizes references, and applies knowledge and skills to solve a challenging problem related to medical device usability.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Student masters selected medical devices, has high-level understanding of importance of usability to different stakeholders, has in-depth understanding of usability terminology and standards, analyses learned knowledge critically and has advanced skills to use learned methods, utilizes high quality references in advanced manner, and applies knowledge and skills to solve a challenging problem or producing a new solution related to medical device usability in advanced manner.
