Objective

The student develops their own skills and identity as a leader and as a supervisor in the creative fields, while learning to take care of their own capacity of renewal. The student learns to apply different methods of strategic planning in different operational environments of the creative field.

Having completed this course, the student is able to:

- Plan and manage an organization’s activities and projects.
- Lead research, development and innovation projects in various work communities.
- Grasp key areas of leadership and the operational models used in different operational environments.
- Apply key leadership models in creative activities.

- Key leadership theories, models and styles.
- Leadership of interaction, projects and networks by utilizing social and technological options.
- Strategic management from idea to execution.
- Manager’s role and responsibilities.
- Decentralized teams and interaction between cultures.
- Integrating stakeholders into operational development.
- Networking and the utilization of networks.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- Students are aware of key areas and theories of leadership, and the operational models used in creative environments.
- Students are aware of the responsibilities and key duties of managers.
- Students understand the relationship between strategy and practical work.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

- Students understand key areas and theories of leadership, and the operational models used in creative environments.
- Students understand the managerial responsibilities and key duties.
- Students understand the significance of collaboration for networks and stakeholders.
- Students understand the operations of an organization from the perspective of corporate social responsibility and from the principles of sustainable development.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

- Students master key areas and theories of leadership, and the operational models used in creative environments.
- Students master the responsibilities and duties of managers.
- Students master the significance of collaboration for networks and stakeholders.
- Students are able to analyze the operations of an organization from the perspective of corporate social responsibility, and are able to apply the principles of sustainable development
