Objective

The student will understand the basics of physical land use planning for housing, traffic, industry, business and green areas, and how these affect the energy consumption of society. The student understands the most common water treatment processes. This course includes energy systems in domestic, in municipal and in global level and synergies between these.

The student is able to apply, calculate, change and choose the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as to complete and produce the necessary information for the calculations.

The students is able to categorize, collect, combine and generalize the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as derive and rearrange given basic information
