Objective

Students
- know how to plan, implement, evaluate and develop the holistic nursing of cancer patients of all ages
- can support patients and their significant others throughout the care path
- are capable of independent and multiprofessional decision-making as part of the holistic care of cancer patients
- assume responsibility for the quality of care regarding their own actions.

Client-oriented support of cancer patients and their significant others, patient education and promotion of self-care
Evidence-based activities and decision-making in the nursing care of cancer patients (i.e. examinations, instructions for treatment, nursing recommendations )
Multiprofessional networking in the nursing of cancer patients
Today’s challenges of oncological nursing
Special questions related to oncological nursing
