Objective

Student
- knows the most common angiological examinations and interventions
- is able to perform the preparation, monitoring and safeguarding of the patient during the examination and his aftercare and guidance
- is able to work in an aseptic and radiation protective way
- is able to work as a team member in emergency care situation

Content

Vascular radiology
Aseptic operation in x-ray examinations and interventions
Radiation protection during the interventions
Sudden changes in the vital functions of the patient
Preparedness for emergency care, medication therapy and resuscitation
Clinical practise (8 ECTS)

Qualifications

Prerequisites:
Radiological Patient in Different Health Care Environments
Patient in ultrasound and mammography examinations and interventions
Patient in magnetic resonance imaging examination
