Objective

Students know the essential types of fictional television series and their typical structures. Students know the characteristics of writing for television and the various professional roles of a screenwriter in the television production process. Students master the fundamentals of developing a concept for a fictional television series.

Writing a Screenplay for a Short Film (KM00BL22) or equivalent

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Attendance in classes. Assignments completed. Some parts of the assignments need improvement.

Active participation in classes. Ability to apply the learned knowledge.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Active participation in classes. Ability to apply the learned knowledge and to reflect on it. Development driven approach to coursework. Generation of new knowledge in order to contribute to the class.
