Practical Training 5Laajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

On completion of the course the student
- understands the field of construction
- can carry out tasks related to his/her major subject with guidance from an expert
- can evaluate his/her skills
- can identify areas of professional competence that he or she needs to study or practice further
- can make a report of practical training according to given instructions.
On completion of the course the student will have the skills needed to perform the common planning and supervision tasks of a young engineer under the guidance of an experienced colleague.

Content

Working in a construction firm as an assistant engineer. Planning and supervision of simple tasks under the supervision of an experienced colleague.
Reporting.

Qualifications

First, second and third year courses.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

In order to complete the course with a pass grade, the student must complete and hand in the documentation and assignments according to given instructions.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Assessment is based on criteria Accepted/Failed. Marks will not be given.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Assessment is based on criteria Accepted/Failed. Marks will not be given.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
