Objective
Students are aware of children’s different developmental phases and the stages of human development in general. They are able to describe the most common deviations of the lower limbs, positions and functions as well as their assessment and primary methods of treatment in various age groups. Students are familiar with the challenges presented to podiatry by various age groups. They are capable of choosing suitable methods of treatment to support the development and growth as well as functional capacity of various age groups. Students are familiar with the central issues related to the development and growth of the lower limbs as well as changes caused by ageing in them.
