Panoramatomography Imaging and Its QualityLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student is able to perform panoramatomographia imaging complying with the radiation safety instructions. S/he is able to explain the factors affecting patient and staff radiation safety and optimize the radiation exposure. S/he is able to prepare the patient for radiography and assess what type of radiation protection the patient needs. S/he is able to evaluate the quality of the X-ray picture according to the criteria of a good picture. S/he is able to interpret the panoramatomography picture tentatively.
