Objective
The student is able to explain the guiding principles of family and child health clinic work. S/he is able to apply the principles of collaborative expertise and resource-based family nursing in oral health promotion of expectant mother, family and infants. The student can explain the oral health care challenges of clients and families from different cultural backgrounds. S/he is able to apply principles of transnational nursing in health promotion. S/he is able to plan, implement and evaluate a health coaching event in a multicultural environment. S/he is able to implement an oral examination for an infant in the clinical practice placement. The student is able to counsel and guide the patients from different cultures in English.
