Objective

After completing this course the student knows the key areas of electrical design business. The student is able able to prepare the necessary documents to set up a business. He or she is able to offer electrical design and enter into the design contract. The student knows the terms of consulting activity. The student is familiar with tha planning stages and he or she is capable to participate planning meetings. The student is able to draw up working specifications, electrical drawings and invitations to tenders. The student is able to make cost estimates and life-cycle calculations. The studen is capable of working as a administrator on a construction site. The student is able to do service and maintenance plans.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. The student is able to draw up the documents related to starting consulting business.
2. The student is able to calculate the offer of the planning for residential building.
3. The student is familiar with the terms of consulting activity.
4. The student is familiar with the planning phases and their outcomes.
5. The student is able to draw up a working specifications and electrical drawings for residential buildings.
6. The student can make offer material for a residential building.
7. The student is able to make a cost estimation of an alectrical contract to a residential building.
8. The student is familiar with the content of a maintenance plan.
9. The student is familiar with the administration activities an a construction site.
