Objective

Continuo 3-4:

The student has extensive knowledge of the different styles of the Figured Bass, he/she masters the Recitativo accompaniment, improvisation and orchestral Continuo. He/she is capable of rearranging ready-made realizations, accompanying music with Figured Bass at sight and, when required, also of making his/her own numbers on the Bass.

Continuo 1-4 have common content.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A performance that meets the minimum criteria, but no more. The candidate demonstrates a very limited degree of judgement and independent thinking.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

A good performance in most areas. The candidate demonstrates a reasonable degree of judgement and independent thinking in the most important areas.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

An excellent performance, clearly outstanding. The candidate demonstrates excellent judgement and a high degree of independent thinking.
