Solfège and Ear TrainingLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

Students will be able to appreciate, analyse, specify and notate musical entities from score and by ear. Students gain personal methods suitable for notating tonal and modal music. Students appreciate the fact that methods and concepts used in aural skills' studies, such as rhythm and scale patterns, solfège, and scale degree numbers, can be applied in their future work as music pedagogues.
