General information
- Credits
- 6 ECTS
Objective
On completion of the course the student will have an overall understanding of the air conditioning systems and the conditions limiting their design in buildings. The student will be familiar with the most common methods of designing ductworks as well as with the principles of basic adjustment. The student will understand the major concepts of air distribution and be able to apply them to the design of air distribution equipment. The student will know the fundaments in noise control in air conditioning. The student will have an overall understanding of the air flow dynamics of in-blast. The student will be able to compare different air conditioning systems and select the appropriate system for each case. On the basis of measurement calculations, the student will be able to select appropriate components for air conditioning systems with regard to air flow dynamics and noise control.
