Fiction 2 Pre-Planning the ProductionLaajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

The students can apply their knowledge in production to pre-planning a short film and thus gain further depth in their professional skills. They become familiar with the new film technological equipment and can include equipment use into the production plan. They can lead and co-ordinate the production group. They can complete their own duties within the schedule of the production. They are also aware of their liability for the budget.

Duties in production when pre-producing a short film.
Managing teams.
Organizing the production’s finances and schedules.
Film technological equipment and its production path.
Gaining deeper professional competence.
Liability for schedules and budgets.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
