Objective

Competence gained in the study unit
Students act in a patient-oriented way. They identify changes in the health of clients/patients with the most common internal diseases. Students can plan, implement and evaluate patient’s care based on evidence. They can justify the choices they make when caring for the patient. They are capable of professional communication with the patient and his/her significant others. They are also capable of working in a multiprofessional work group and having the patient’s best interest at heart. They implement medication safely. They promote health safely respecting the patient.

Prerequisites for entering the study unit:
Previous clinical practice placements according to the curriculum as well as the theoretical nursing studies of Decision-making in Nursing and Reporting.
