Theatre Work 1 - Basics in PerformingLaajuus (12 ECTS)

Objective

Students know how to use their own instrument as a means of expression and how to use stage presence, listening, interaction and performing skills as part of a group process. This is an introductory course to advanced studies where a variety of workshops are offered in such skills as improvisation, body awareness, oral expression and singing, physical expression and using the Gestalt method in acting.

Content

A variety of exercises in different modes of expression. Performing skills are acquired through process and production-based learning. The course includes invidual and group tuition.
