Basics of TypographyLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The students will learn about the history of typography, the development of Western alphabet, and the basic concepts and rules of typography and typographical possibilities in terms of communication and expression. The students will be able to utilise typographical solutions in their design work.

- Stylistic and technical selection criteria between different fonts
