Objective
Students are aware of the central processes of developmental psychology during different phases of life. They know the principles of human mental development. In their work, students can promote mental development and wellbeing as well as rehabilitation. They are aware of the positive factors for change and know how to promote good mental health. Students identify causes of mental disorders and their manifestation as well as know how to apply work methods supporting mental health to their work. Students are prepared to identify, meet and support people and communities in crisis. They can analyse mental, underlying reasons for pain and know how to apply psychological pain treatment methods to their work. Students know how dysfunctions in the brain affect human behaviour and know their significance to functional ability. They are able to assess the functional ability of neurological patients. Students know how to use neuropsychological knowledge in the rehabilitation of impairment caused by cerebral dysfunctions
