Objective

Students understand the clinical process of osteopathy holistically. They carry out tasks at the reception of Positia. Students show they are capable of teamwork in the clinical environment and know how to assess their own development by means of a development portfolio.

Content

Acquainting with Positia learning unit. Observing more experienced osteopathy students’ work. Observing osteopaths’ work with patients. Progress in clinical practice and organisation of the learning clinic. Visit as a patient. Confidentiality, collegial conduct, etiquette and hygiene. Evaluation of experiences and learning outcomes as well as reflection by means of a learning diary.
