Objective

The students comprehend the importance of the pre-planning stage in a fiction film project.
They can break down the script and take into account both the productional and artistic points of view. The students improve their skills when planning the entire filming process and also comprehend the central problematics of other fields. The students can acquire and distribute information on the planning process for the rest of the team. The students can communicate with the members of the team in appropriate ways.

Production: the students set up a financial plan and negotiate with the sponsors. The students also learn to evaluate the size of the production group on the basis of both the script and the goals of the production. In addition, the students comprehend the significance of both internal and external communications.

Managing work and planning the division of work

Production:
learning the artistic and productional goals; making a pre-production plan, cost estimate, and a financial plan. Coordinating and informing the preparatory work of the film production group.

Scriptwriting: the students form a point of view of other professional fields by taking part in different tasks.
