Property Management 1Laajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

On completion of the course the student will have an overall insight of the real estate markets in Finland and the parties of real estate business. The student will acquire tools for the efficient and productive use of real estate. The student will understand client-centered facility management, outsourcing real estate services and inviting tenders. The student will be familiar with real estate as investments, profitability and investment calculation.
The student will be familiar with the relationships and connections between different parties in real estate business, and the different viewpoints and goals in terms of real estate. The student understands zoning issues related to real estate and knows the meaning of real estate information in property management.

The concepts and trends in real estate business, real estate markets in Finland, real estate management and real estate economy, energy efficiency, real estate maintenance and life cycle economy.
Data management in real estate business.
