Objective

The student understands the role of technology management and its methods. He/she understands what meaning innovations have in the business strategy. The student is able to participate to innovation strategy creation and utilization processes. The student understands what a product life cycle is and what its tasks are.

Content

Technology strategies and methods, what is innovation: Process innovation, new practices, innovation management, open innovation, technological trends and life cycle, productization and its phases and processes, copyrights and non-disclosure agreements.

The student understands the definition of innovation and knows different sources for innovation.
The student recognizes different factors influencing the birth of innovations.
The student knows the basics of productization.
The student is able to use simple innovation tools

The student understands the definition of innovation and knows different sources for innovation, and understands their meaning in the innovation process.
The student recognizes different factors influencing the birth of innovations.
The student knows the basics of productization and its process.

The student understands the definition of innovation and knows different sources for innovation, and understands their meaning in the innovation process.
The student recognizes different factors influencing the birth of innovations, and recognizes their importance to companies.
The student knows the process of productization and can implement it.
The student is able to create an innovation toolbox.
