Objective

The basic issues underlying new business development, entrepreneurship, and project management. The process and stages in the development and marketing of new business ideas. The emphasis is on the start up and early years of new business ventures. The content of the course includes:
Characteristics of entrepreneurs, opportunity and innovation, start-up phases, developing a business plan, problems of growth and financing a small firms, family firm, and exit strategies

Content

Equip students with the knowledge they need to understand the issues facing entrepreneurial start-ups and other relatively new businesses. The students understand the basics of business planning and the factors are leading to success.

Qualifications
