Objective

The student will be able to map and analyse a real problem situation in industrial engineering and management. The student integrates the contents of previous courses in order to map and analyse real problems in industrial engineering and management.

Content

Mapping and analysing a problem in industrial engineering and management. Basic theories and methods of the problem area. Problem solving skills.

The student has described well a process important to the company, found measurement parameters and seeked relevant literature.

The student has described well a process important to the company, found measurement parameters and seeked relevant literature. The student has proposed improvements to the process and/or measurement and the improvement is based on a solid logic. The project has helped the target company.
