The student knows the responsibilities, roles and duties of forwarding.
The student knows the importance of trade terms and can identify Incoterns 2010 phrases.
The student knows the functional differences of foreign and domestic trade.
The student knows the basics of international transportation.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student knows the differences for concepts of "forwarder's liability" and "carrier liability".
The student is able to apply delivery clauses to different transportation modes.
The student recognizes the most important documents of forwarding.
The student is able to calculate the customs value and knows the most important tax policies on imports and exports.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student masters the forwarder's responsibilities and obligations and is able to manage risks.
The student is familiar with the import, export and transit procedures.
The student is aware of the excise duties and other fees charging criteria.
The student masters the elements of the forwarder's job.
