Objective

Getting an understanding about the basic problematic of large software systems. Defining the software by using some high level language (SDL/UML).

Content

Basic concepts of telecommunication systems, signals in time and frequency domain; Fourier analysis, signal transmission, attenuation and link budget, transfer function and frequency response and their effect on signal properties in time and frequency domain. Basic concepts of filtering, signal autocorrelation and cross correlation and spectral density.
