Objective

At the end of the course the student is expected to:
-know factors affecting on corrosion damages of steel in concrete structures
-know condition assessment methods for concrete structures
-know defects of rendered facades
-know condition assessment methods for rendered facades
-know most common indoor air problems and their assessment methods
-know how to plan condition assessments for concrete and rendered structures and indoor problems
-know how to research corrosion in concrete structures with different methods
-know how to research defects in rendered structures with different methods
-know how to do some indoor air measurements

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to:
-list factors affecting on corrosion in concrete structures
-explain condition assessment methods of concrete structures
-list damages of rendered structures
-explain condition assessment methods of rendered structures
-list most common indoor air problems and their research methods
-develop assessment plans for assessments of concrete and rendered structures as well as for indoor air research
-study corrosion damages of concrete structures with various methods
-study damages of rendered structures with different methods
-carry out some studies on indoor air

The student is able to:

-study damages of rendered structures with different methods, write reports of measurements and analyze reliability of those measurements
