Objective
The student is expected to know
- the properties of wood and from wood upgraded products
- the properties of stones, concrete, mortars, cypsum, ceramic materials and glass
- behaviour of wood and rock materials under different stresses and their damaging mechanisms

- study the cell structure, moisture behaviour, applicability to coating and other properties of wood
- produce concrete
The student is expected to know the meaning of aggregate grain size distribution and watwr/cement-relationship to the properties of concrete
