Objective

After this course the student
- knows the theory and methods of quality control
- knows how to utilize SPC in quality control and in maintenance of production equipment
- knows the ISO 9000 quality system
- knows the international calibration system, the national Finnish measuring system and the traceability of measurements

The philosphies and basis of quality, tools to improve quality, SPC, ISO 9000 quality system, calibration systems
