Objective

The student demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the Finnish rehabilitation practice.
He / she demonstrates understanding of services, systems and policies related to the health care, social services and rehabilitation.

The student identifies the multiple factors that have impact on functioning and disability of the population. He / she are aware of the current challenges in the area of rehabilitation.
The student understands the importance of evaluating the service provided in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. He / she reflects on evaluation findings and determine their implications to service development.
The students familiarises himself / herself with planning, implementation and assessment of rehabilitation and understand the significance of rehabilitation planning in terms of clients.
The student understands the meaning of strategies that engage the client in a collaborative approach.

Further information

Studies are multidisciplinary in nature and are carried out in groups including students from all the rehabilitation related degree programmes.
