Objective
Students master different information collection methods. Students know how to use different types of measurements and assess the reliability of the measurements and measuring devices that they use. Students know how to carry out clinical examination of the feet, chart lower extremity self-care habits and assess footwear and pain, so as to be capable of making a podiatric diagnosis and an individual podiatry plan. When recording findings, they make flexible use of the coding system of foot diseases. Students are familiar with laboratory and radiological examinations used in podiatry, so as to be able to refer clients when they need these examinations.
