Objective
The student acquires basic theoretical knowledge of various fields of medicine, which are applied to practice in different clinical settings.

SXXCN01B Anaesthesiology 3.5 cr
Objectives
The student acquires theoretical and practical skills for working in anaesthetic and intensive care. During the studies, the student achieves basic skills in main anaesthetic methods and pharmacotherapy. S/he develops competence in infusions and blood transfusions and is able to use equipment and devices intended for care and examinations.

SXXCN02A Pathophysiology and Pharmacology: 3 cr
Objectives
The student gains the required competence in emergency care nursing of the reasons and causes of acute illnesses from the perspective of pathophysiology. In addition, s/he acquires the necessary skills needed in patient care by means of pharmacology.
