Objective

The student is trained to define the state of oral health, and to carry out cariologic and periodontal examinations. The student is trained to document treatment in health care and to find out the connection between general illnesses, medication and oral health. S/he practises physiological and aseptic working, using instruments, defining occlusion, dental radiology and developing films.

Connection between general illnesses, medication and oral heath
Follow-up of peer student's oral health care
Practice of physiological working, usage of instruments and defining occlusion
Use of mouth camera, characteristics of a healthy mouth,
Recognising caries and periodontal disease
Dental radiology, developing films and practising their interpretation
Cariologic examination
