Prostheses 3Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

Student will deepen his/her knowledge on amputations and prostheses, and will train to design and fabricate individual limb prostheses.
Student will be able to estimate how the effects of the limb deficiences and the damages in structure and function of the limbs will affect to the human functional capasity; and he/she can consider the facts in the prescription of prosthetic device.
Student will train to motivate and instruct the client in the use of limb prostheses.
