Objective
The student knows the principles of welding technology and manufacturing methods. The student knows the most common materials used in power plants and energy production and the influence of heat treatment, alloying and coating on their properties. The student will be familiar with the fundamentals of strength of materials and machine parts and their main methods of investigation.

-Material solutions for renewable energy production
-Force, torque, force couple, equivalent force systems, centre of gravity and force distributions
-Force diagram
-Beams, trusses, joints, crossbars, connections
Qualifications
The student understands simple natural phenomena and has basic mathematical and scientific skills related to the calculation of natural phenomena.
