Objective

Student understands basics of programming (variables, control structures and methods) well and is able to solve simple algorithmic problems fluently. He/she knows the idea of object-oriented programming and can apply that knowledge in small-scale programming problems. Student knows the basic collection types and can write programs utilizing them. He/she is able to look for more information in Java standard library documentation and apply that in programming. He/she has learned to work in systematical manner, solving programming problems in clear steps.

Student is able to define the course concepts and models and is able to justify the analysis. Student is able to apply his/her knowledge in study and work situations.
