Objective

The student can describe ventilation, heating and heat recovery solutions for industrial premises. The student can design the ventilation system of an industrial hall including local ventilation systems. The student can explain the air conditioning solutions of special rooms and their special features. The student knows the standards and guidelines applied in design.

Indoor climate of industrial premises, target levels and HTP values. Dimensioning principles of air flows. Local air conditioning systems and their sizing principles. Air curtains. Heating of industrial premises. Heat recovery. Air conditioning systems for special rooms such as kitchen, laboratory and parking spaces.
