Objective

The student can calculate the climate emissions and benefits caused by the energy use of buildings. The student can explain the importance of the energy use and maintenance of the building's technical systems to the building's energy consumption and can normalized energy consumption. The student can describe the tasks and documents included in the energy audit, condition assessment and condition survey. The student can take into account the improvement of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in renovation construction and explain the benefits that can be achieved with it at the building and community level.

Prerequisites

The student competences according to the contents of the following studies: Energy and life-cycle management of buildings, Heat pumps and systems, Basics of building electrical engineering, Building automation system.
