Objective

The student is able to
- eplain the key concepts of workplace management
- identify the user needs when planning and designing work stations and facilities
- design a workplace concept, which is effective for the company and satisfying for the user
- act in a change process

Content

The student will get a general picture of planning processes and managing working environment.The student will identify physical, social and virtual factors, which impact to the user experience of different spatial solutions and spatial networks.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to explain the key concepts of workplace management and identify the user needs. They can describe the effects of new ways of working to the facilities.
The student knows the principles of flexible and user oriented workplace concept.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to explain the key concepts of workplace management and identify the user needs. They can describe the effects of new ways of working to the facilities.
The student knows the principles of flexible and user oriented workplace concept.

The student can design a workplace concept, which is effective for the company and satisfying for the user. They know how to participate and act in a workplace change process.

In addition to the previous, the student can apply the contents to the development of workplace and facility services, and to the development of personal expertise.
